![]() Baseline Optimized produces slightly smaller files with slightly better color. The Baseline format creates a standard JPEG file with broad compatibility in Web browsers. Set "Format Options" to create a file in Baseline, Baseline Optimized or Progressive format. Note that setting the Quality drop-down menu to "Low" or "Maximum" won't set image quality to its lowest or highest possible numeric values. Set the Quality dropdown menu to a value between "Low" and "Maximum." Alternatively, you can enter a value between zero and 12 in the Quality data field, or drag the quality slider to the low or high end of its scale. Depending on your intended use for the JPEG file you're saving, these options may be unnecessary or unsupported.Ĭlick on the "Save" button to bring up the JPEG Options dialog box.
